Open Source Server Code
If it is deemed too labour intensive to develop a linux server binary another option would be to open source the server code (only). This would have potential implications in regards to piracy and IP but these are not insurmountable and the potential benefits would be enormous - long-term community support, additional OS support, additional features and bug fixing provided by a passionate community to name just a few. ...more »
